One of the most unique aspects of camp is the wood-fired sauna trailer. Compliment the cool spring evenings with a hot steam to fully relax after a full day of paddling. Or combine the sauna with a cold plunge in the emerald green river water. After, there are hot showers you can rinse off in.

DAY 2

After food and plenty of time for that second (or third) cup of coffee or tea, we all gather together for some paddling instruction. Afterwards, we’re ready to tackle the lower section of the river, which is filled with big, fun class III, IV, and IV+ rapids, cascading waterfalls, and emerald green side streams. The day will end back at our base camp with a big dinner, the sauna, a campfire, plenty of time to relax, and anticipation for the next day.

This section of river combines big-water rapids and beauty, which is unmatched. After catching your breath and congratulating yourself and your fellow paddlers on another amazing day, we get ready for dinner and another night at camp.

DAY 4

MONDAY, MAY 15

For our third day on the water, we will switch up the adventure and have the opportunity to paddle the stunningly beautiful Clear Creek in inflatable kayaks. Clear Creek is like no other stretch of river in the country – it is very narrow with high canyon walls and the water is as clear and clean as it's name implies. It is truly a place you have to see to believe. After kayaking on Clear Creek, we will say goodbye to our guides and travel back to the Ashland Springs Hotel in Ashland, Oregon (approximately 2.5 hrs).

We highly recommend staying the night in Ashland on Monday, as we will likely get back in the early evening and you may be too tired to drive home from all the fun!
