Women, Wilderness, Whitewater…and wine?! We are so excited to bring back this trip for our second year! Join other women on a wilderness & river experience of a lifetime. The Wild & Scenic 'Cal' Salmon River is one of the most incredible class IV-V rafting trips in the country. This trip is filled with beautiful, lush coastal scenery, a dramatic granite river gorge, endless cascading waterfalls, and emerald green waters. We will stay in a deluxe glamping camp nestled in the forest alongs the river. Happening on Mother's Day weekend, this is a perfect Mother-Daughter trip or a great getaway for all the busy moms that need time to recharge. Spend 4 days on this beautiful river with other incredible women. Gourmet meals, hot showers, a sauna trailer, happy hours, wine tasting, and camping under the stars make this special experience one you will never forget. This trip is for women who want to: ✅ Spend more time safely on the river ✅ Experience fun whitewater in a safe & encouraging environment ✅ Build confidence on the river while learning commands, paddle strokes, and how to read whitewater ✅ Learn key safety principles on the water ✅ Gain outdoor skills in remote environments
Women guides, women guests... this weekend is all about empowering women to feel comfortable and competent on the water and in the outdoors. Each day will include skills clinics on and off the water!
Nestled along the Cal Salmon's lush coastal forests and emerald green waters, our camp is extremely remote, many miles from any cities and combines luxury camping, hot showers, a wood-fired sauna, to create an extremely unique ‘glamping’ style experience.
All meals are included. In the late afternoon we will enjoy appetizers and happy hour, followed by a delicious meal created from organic and local produce. The evening can be spent at the bar, around the campfire, or by the river.
One of the most unique aspects of camp is the wood-fired sauna trailer. Compliment the cool spring evenings with a hot steam to fully relax after a full day of paddling. Or combine the sauna with a cold plunge in the emerald green river water. After, there are hot showers you can rinse off in.
From experienced adventure divas to ladies who are new to the wild… we have designed this trip so that everyone feels comfortable, included and empowered with new skills.
You'll have the option to start your morning with some yoga and light stretching before getting on the river.
Meet at the historic Ashland Springs Hotel in Downtown Ashland at 8am. We will have a brief orientation and then load up the vans to start the drive to our Cal Salmon River Camp.
We will stop for lunch (provided) along the way and a skills workshop covering some outdoor and whitewater basics to help us get ready for our adventure.
We will then continue our scenic drive to the Salmon River Camp. The camp is approximately 3.5 hrs from Ashland, Oregon.
Once we arrive we will get settled into camp life. We will enjoy a welcome happy hour, have time to lounge by the river, take a sauna, then enjoy dinner and a bonfire under the stars.
Lunch, Happy Hour, Dinner)
The first day of rafting starts with a relaxed breakfast served under the enormous trees of coastal California. After food and plenty of time for that second (or third) cup of coffee or tea, we all gather together for some paddling instruction. Afterwards, we’re ready to tackle the lower section of the river, which is filled with big, fun class III, IV, and IV+ rapids, cascading waterfalls, and emerald green side streams. The day will end back at our base camp with a big dinner, the sauna, a campfire, plenty of time to relax, and anticipation for the next day.
Breakfast, Lunch, Happy Hour, Dinner
The second day of rafting is a big day! Get ready for some of the most incredible whitewater anywhere on the class-V Nordheimer section. This section of river combines big-water rapids and beauty, which is unmatched. After catching your breath and congratulating yourself and your fellow paddlers on another amazing day, we get ready for dinner and another night at camp.
Breakfast, Lunch, Happy Hour, Dinner
For our third day on the water, we will switch up the adventure and have the opportunity to paddle the stunningly beautiful Clear Creek in inflatable kayaks. Clear Creek is like no other stretch of river in the country – it is very narrow with high canyon walls and the water is as clear and clean as it's name implies. It is truly a place you have to see to believe. After kayaking on Clear Creek, we will say goodbye to our guides and travel back to the Ashland Springs Hotel in Ashland, Oregon (approximately 2.5 hrs).
We highly recommend staying the night in Ashland on Monday, as we will likely get back in the early evening and you may be too tired to drive home from all the fun!
3-nights deluxe glamping at our riverside basecamp; includes walk-in tents, hot outdoor showers, and a wood-fired sauna.

This trip is great for both adventurous beginners and experienced rafters in good physical condition. You will need to be able to follow guide instructions, aggressively paddle, and self-rescue (lift head out of water, turn onto back, orient body with feet pointed downstream) in the unlikely event that you wind up outside the raft.
