Lace up your boots and get ready to celebrate the wonders of America's trails! Join the nationwide movement on National Trails Day, held on the first Saturday of June, for a fulfilling day of service dedicated to maintaining and preserving our cherished hiking, biking, and paddling trails. This event is a fantastic opportunity to give back to the outdoors, connect with your community, and experience the joy of trail stewardship. Deschutes Trail Coalition will be providing a safe environment to learn trail stewardship skills while being able to connect with other outdoorsy women.

We will be meeting at Aspen Camp day use area and work either up or down stream brushing the trail of overgrowing vegetation and will also include the deconstruction of a rather large user-created shelter.
No experience is needed, all of the activities will be led by a knowledgable trail crew leader who is happy to help you learn.
This will be physical labor that could require you to lift and swing tools while working in an outdoor environment. You should also be prepared to carry tools to the restoration location.
Tools will be provided along with other PPE - Personal Protection Equipment. If you wish to bring your own gloves or safety glasses you are welcome to do so.
We thank you for your support and highly suggest that you make a donation to Deschutes Trail Coalition so that they can continue to maintain the trails we all love. You can donate at https://www.discovernw.org/deschutes-trails-coalition.html?Session_ID=a5fe2470bda58c98e78ebedf1191429c
